I spent HK$20000, hope to buy a new desktop computer with good quality, good brands hopefully. However, after 1.5 months of services, the computer board went wrong and cannot be turned on again. The staffs claimed that they will only replace the board within the 1st month and will not do any replacement, so angry!!!! they acts like friendly b4 you pay the money. After that, u encounter a problem, their attitute become hostile, even shout at you like gangsters. if u still go there, hope u good luck

The place was rather hard to find in the massive computer centre although when I arrived I was shocked at the amount of up to date modern products they had. I went in to purchase a graphics card (thanks to their website) and was in and out in 10 minutes. Staff were friendly but payment was a bit of a hassle, overall a nice and easy shopping experience.
Didn't tell me there'd be an upgrade coming out in weeks way back when I bought my 980ti 3.5 years back. I didn't make a fuss of course, but I was not happy.
Also, they're never helpful even if you made a small mistake on a cheap item (green led fans) even after spending 5k HKD there recently. (The item turned out to be useful in another way though, so it worked out, but I had to work that out myself as the salesman couldn't even be bothered to give any advice, just busy turning away from the problem.)
Basically Centralfield will treat you like a cash cow, Comdex is much better and is eating their lunch, especially with the recent recession. I notice they've let most of their salespeople go...
Good service or the lack of it has long term consequences!
I have purchased numerous computers for my workplace and lots of components for myself. Always helpful and prices are good. They only sell quality stuff and check for compatibility before they sell. Install staff are ok--despite other comment. I have had complete builds done in about an hour. If there are problems they will deal with it.
This is the largest computer store in computer centers across Hong Kong. It has many stores in the same centers selling different products. For example, a store selling notebook and the other one on display monitor. You can get components from different brands, from low end to high end. Although the price is always higher than others, their reputation and service is above average. It is often a good start to look for your components.
Their stores are mostly on first floor.
Entrance level HP laptop is cheaper than other shop. But for high end specific laptop price is above average. Although only a few staff around but they are all very helpful and proactive.
I purchased a few PC and screens from Centralfield. Sales are usually helpful and provides you with good info. The repair center and where you collect the PC is something else. You often wait for a while and some staff there are rude, moody and just not pleasant.
